The Wellness Center Nurse’s primary responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, performing of treatments and procedures, case management, serving as a liaison with hospital and outside providers, and health-oriented consultations and education with residents and families.
*Key Qualities:*
· Excellent organization and communications skills to support operations of a busy health clinic setting.
· Solid understanding of geriatric care delivery.
· Ability to interact in a calm, courteous manner with residents, family members, and other health services departments.
· Ability to utilize medical equipment, adaptive equipment, and all tools associated with clinical practice (electronic communication and electronic medical records).
*Education and Experience:*
· Associate Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Current Vermont license as Registered Nurse
· Minimum of three years of significantly responsible clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Demonstrated knowledge in gerontological health preferred.

70 and increases depending on experience.
