Female acoustic musician (I play a little guitar, a little mandolin, and sing -- singing is my strong suit).
Am a mezzo soprano, can handle everything from traditional bluegrass, to belting out some blues (and I occasionally channel select Fogart or ZZ Top).
Have been in several band situations -- duos, trios, bluegrass.
Willing to share recordings Plenty of stage/gig experience.
Demos available (can email).
Would really like to meet up with 2-3 folks, who, like me, are willing to try anything and if it sounds good and we like it, have fun with it.
Not averse to open mikes if they're around, not averse to longer term situations (I'm on assignment til mid May, live two hours away, and am likely to extend--and a good group to play with would make the drive worth it).
Prefer folks in the 50+ group, and would hope for a guitar player who's MUCH better than me :-D.
Would appreciate any advice on local open mikes (although they might be difficult since I'm working overnights), I will be able to make it work.
Please
do not have an insecure/jealous wife or girlfriend who's going to be unhappy that you're making music with a single woman :D.
