I'm looking to bring together a rock lineup, to focus on vintage Brit-Celtic folk-rock.
Think Fairport, Steeleye, Horslips -- mostly the more melodic, pre-punk stuff (but a bit of Pogues, etc.
, couldn't hurt).
The setlist could include some more general-interest material, too (Americana, jangle-pop, Dead, Creedence, whatever).
I've played in a similar band out-of-state for years, but wouldn't mind some gigs closer to Chittenden County.
Lineup should be standard 4/5-piece rock band, with full drum kit (hand drum skill a plus), electric 6+12-string guitars, electric bass.
and a lead instrument such as fiddle or flute.
We'll need one or more strong vocalists (I can carry a tune but defer to the stronger singers).
A love for this genre is a must! I play guitars, fiddle, mando, bass.
I'm fine with switching between instruments within shows.
