Guitarist itching to play (Middlebury)

Been living out here in Middlebury for just under 2 years, and it truly shocks me how few musicians seem to be around the area that are looking to play regularly.
I'm in my mid 30s and have been playing guitar for over 20 years.
I'd consider myself to be at an intermediate/ advanced level and would love to find others to play with who are at that same stage.
I work full time, and family life is always a distraction- however music is my primary passion and lately playing with others is something that has been obviously missing from my life.
Been playing mostly acoustic these days, sort of mix of jamgrass + acoustic rock/americana, but I played primarily electric guitar (lead) for years.

so I could be up for a full band w/ drums, or more of a modern "Dad Rock" acoustic outlet for smaller coffee house size gigs.
Would love to write some music, and cut our teeth on some choice covers.
